Domestic Violence Shelters

Safe, confidential housing for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Services include counseling, legal advocacy, and help finding permanent housing.

Rental Assistance Programs

Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA)

Federal and state programs that help tenants pay rent and utilities. Funds may cover past-due rent, future rent payments, and utility bills.

Eligibility: Income at or below 80% AMI, experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19

Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher

Long-term rental assistance that helps low-income families afford housing in the private market. The program pays a portion of rent directly to landlords.

Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)

Free home energy improvements including insulation, air sealing, and heating system repairs. Reduces energy bills and improves home comfort.

Eligibility: Income at or below 200% federal poverty level

Home Repair Programs

Many communities offer programs to help homeowners with essential repairs including roofs, plumbing, and accessibility modifications.
