About Community Bridge Resources

Connecting people with the help they need, when they need it.

Our Mission

To serve as a bridge between individuals and families in need and the community resources available to help them achieve stability and self-sufficiency.

Our Story

Community Bridge Resources was founded in 2021 by Maria Delgado, a social worker with over a decade of experience helping families in Phoenix, Arizona navigate the benefits system.

“I kept meeting people who qualified for programs that could change their lives — rental assistance, food benefits, free healthcare — but they had no idea those programs existed,” Maria recalls. “The information was out there, but it was buried in government websites, scattered across dozens of agencies, and written in language nobody could understand.”

What started as a simple blog where Maria shared the same guidance she gave her clients has grown into a comprehensive resource hub used by thousands of families every month. Today, CBR covers everything from SNAP and Medicaid enrollment to housing vouchers, job training programs, and financial literacy — all written in plain language by people who have worked directly in the communities they serve.

“Nobody should have to hire a lawyer or spend hours on hold just to find out if they qualify for help paying their electric bill. We write every article like we’re sitting across the table from someone who needs answers today.”

— Maria Delgado, Founder
