Government Food Programs

SNAP (Food Stamps)

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program provides monthly benefits on an EBT card to buy groceries. Benefits are based on household size and income.

Eligibility: Gross income at or below 130% of poverty level

WIC – Women, Infants, and Children

Nutritious foods, nutrition education, and healthcare referrals for pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to age 5.

Eligibility: Pregnant/postpartum women, infants, children under 5 at nutritional risk

School Meals Program

Free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch for children at school. Many districts offer summer meal programs when school is out.

Eligibility: Children in households at or below 185% of poverty for reduced, 130% for free
